Material Phisycs

UACJ IIT

Surfaces and Interfaces

The group is dedicated to the study of semiconductors: The structure and the electric transportation in SiO2 nitride film. The interface structure films from materials of high constant dielectric (HfO2, ZrO2, Ta2O5, La2O3, SrTiO3 , BaTiO3 , etc.) over silicon, Imperfections structure in semiconductors (InGaAs, AlGaAs, InGaN, etc). Ferroelectric materials from wet chemistry and polyol (LiNbO3, KNbO3, etc). Materials in development to fight cervical cancer from hyperthermia on a (HeLa Cell) with (Lax(SrCa)1-xMnO3). The analysis on solar cells efficiency (ZnxCd1-xTe) using sol gel.

Mission

Develop investigation and multidisciplinary technology with a high impact in the physics of material area, which guarantee a high-quality human resources formation used to input to the development of a country or the means and the development of skills to link all the sectors

Vision

Being the physic of materials group leader in the creation of scientific and frontier technologies knowledge in materials and the formation of competitive researchers, that contribute to the solutions of technological problems with socioeconomic impact
